After spending 15 years in Nashville, sharing both the stage and the page with Music City’s talented creative class, she has returned to her hometown of Chicago.
She’s bringing a wealth of “Very Nashville” experiences with her: writing and releasing multiple self-released projects, contributing lyrics and music to other artists’ recordings, being featured as a "Trailblazer" in the national campaign for RocketBuster Boots in 2016, performing in Lorrie Morgan's "Enchanted Christmas" at the Garylord Opryland Hotel & Resort, and opening for the legendary Wanda Jackson at a birthday party for fashion Icon Manuel, as part of a Johnny Cash Cover band. Her proudest accomplishment was her time spent managing the Words & Music program at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where she brought the joy of songwriting to students and community members throughout Nashville and across the world.
Annie is thrilled to be back in the Chicago area, and is excited to collaborate with a whole new community of songwriters and artists. She’s keeping the tradition of country music alive and well, telling stories through honest lyrics and memorable melodies, no matter where she hangs her (cowboy) hat.
